I was fortunate enough to have met Josh ten years ago when I started going to music shows in the Hardcore community in Hamilton. He was someone everyone could look up to, still is. A great man in his own right. So it was an honour to capture his and Ali's big day. A couple that complement each other effortlessly.
I was due to relocate to London before the end of April, but when Josh had asked I could photograph his wedding, I pushed the date back and flew out a few days after. The mid autumn day was beautiful, and a bit chilly once the sun had set. Monita came along to assist and we headed to see the girls who were getting ready in the Mount, conveniently, just down the road from the boys. Once everyone was ready we headed to the venue. Friends and family had gathered in Tauranga at the Ataahua Gardens. An amazing venue that has everything in one place. The day was filled with laughter and love, no better way to end my last New Zealand wedding for a while.
