It’s always a nice change to leave the known and see a bit of our own backyard. Martinborough has beauty that reminds me of the McKenzie Country, sprawling country-side, hills and just a touch greener than down south. Tim and Abbie preferred the tranquility of Martinborough over the bustle of Wellington and had family and friends gather from all over.
Tim and Abbie are both well accomplished and well-travelled and their paths crossed at the perfect time. Abbie and her family, are like family, having known them for over two decades. So when Abbie asked if I was free to capture her wedding, I was beyond happy that I could. From the first Skype I knew this wedding was going to be full of love and passion.
From sunrise to sunset the day didn’t disappoint. Abbie was absolutely radiant, once she was in that dress everyone was in awe. The garden grove made for an intimate setting, and a bit of shelter from the beating sun.
